I am A us citizen with Mexican residency, planning to marry a dual guatemalan/spanish resident. Our company is perhaps not looking for US residency on her behalf, and probably won’t for the very long time, when. But i wish to make sure there will not be any nagging issue visiting my loved ones (when you look at the US) together with her in the foreseeable future.
Even as we are hitched, maybe there is any trouble going into the United States together, her for a VWP ( together with her Spanish passport), me personally as a resident? Or must she get a visa as being a click this link now grouped family users person in A us resident?

Yes, there may be more trouble on her behalf going into the U.S. as time goes on. Whilst the partner of the resident, she will whenever you want after entering merely alter her brain and also you dudes can apply for Adjustment of Status to obtain a green card at any moment. It’s very easy to abuse. Consequently, the responsibility of her showing that she will not want to stay is greater.
Some partners of U.S. residents are over over repeatedly denied U.S. tourist visas and/or entry. Some get tourist visas and/or enter on VWP without any difficulty. This will depend in the circumstances. Be sure she’s got strong evidence of ties to her home country that she does not want to abandon.
There isn’t any “family member” visa in the US. Then VWP is the right path, unless she intends to stay for more than 3 months or change status if she’s coming as a tourist.
America will likely not give that you tourist visa. I’m in a situation that is similar. I’m American but a longterm permanent resident of Japan without any present intention of moving to the States. 続きを読む
